The use of biomaterial and mono material – polyethylene for the production of tape allows organizing the processes of collecting and processing packaging as efficiently as possible and reducing environmental pollution.

POLYETHYLENE

The most common material for making ZIP LOCK fasteners. Polyethylene of any kind is resistant to impacts, does not pass or absorb water, is impervious to dust and frost-resistant, therefore products made from this material are characterized by extremely low gas penetration and vapor penetration. Packaging made using this tape is used by manufacturers of coffee, tea, spices, cereals, groceries, sweets, dairy products, as this material can be safely used in contact with food. Products in bags with a plastic zipper are reliably protected from moisture and foreign odors.

POLYPROPYLENE

Less common material for the production of ZIP LOCK fasteners. This material is characterized by high impact strength, resistance to repeated bending, wear resistance, low vapor and gas permeability, and high dielectric properties. Since the material itself has a higher melting point than polyethylene, products made from it are characterized by high heat resistance and strength. Packaging made using this tape is used by manufacturers of high-strength, high-capacity bags and retort bags, in which food is exposed to high temperatures over 120 degrees Celsius for a significant time.

BIOMATERIAL

The modern world of packaging is packaging that does not harm the environment and is simply recycled. Tape with ZIP LOCK fastener can be made of biopolymer materials, which together with the bag allows used packaging to be composted under normal conditions, and decomposing will not harm the environment. Used for packaging eco or craft bags. The quality and safety of products made from biopolymer materials is confirmed by the results of tests and tests conducted in Ukrainian and European laboratories.
